Marketing Communications Coordinator

Mission

Serve as the central coordination liaison for all internal departments and external vendors on marketing/listener/donor communications projects. Participate and contribute ideas during the planning and scheduling of fundraising campaigns, new product launches, ministry updates, surveys, monthly mailings, social media, and technology updates. Oversee and maintain ministry-wide schedules for all month-by-month programming and proactively coordinate with all departments and scriptwriters to ensure program messaging is integrated, consistent, and synchronized. Oversee invoice processing, perform post-campaign statistical analysis, and independently manage projects that move the department and ministry forward.  

Accountabilities

  • Create and maintain the Truth For Life promotional schedule and publication calendar
    • All radio and digital programming
    • All promotional activities
    • Monthly book offers
    • Donor acquisition/retention/growth programs
  • Brainstorm ideas, craft implementation plans, coordinate with other departments, and schedule:
    • Year-end giving campaigns
    • Truthpartner campaigns
    • New product launches  
    • Technology changes
    • Special events
    • Ministry updates
    • Strategic initiatives
  • Establish strong relationships within the department and with other department coordinators to facilitate effective and frequent communication and coordination.
  • Serve as the Truth For Life primary contact with print vendors.
  • Prepare documentation each month for use at monthly script meetings and monthly promotion planning meetings.
  • Participate as a member of a world-class Communications team by actively contributing to strategic planning and by attending conferences to keep up with marketing trends.
  • Identify statistical reporting needs and work with internal departments to build effective Key Performance Indicators.
  • Gain familiarity with the ministry's project management tool (ClickUp) and learn best practices using ClickUp. Set up monthly recurring projects for the Communications team in ClickUp, as well as one-time projects that require cross-team coordination.
  • Independently work on projects that enhance the department and ministry. Additionally, work independently on projects related to the ministry’s strategic priorities.

Outcomes

  • All communications initiatives will be implemented successfully and timely across all departments.  
  • Communications team will be coordinated to implement donor and listener communications accurately and on schedule.
  • Programming and communications across all channels will correctly convey intended messaging.
  • Major projects will be documented, and tasks assigned and tracked in project management tools.
  • Promotions and campaigns are managed across teams and KPIs are in place to monitor success.
  • Independently managed projects will add benefit to the Communications department, and the ministry as a whole.

Experience

Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years working in marketing role in either a marketing department or at an advertising agency. Qualified candidates will also have 3-5 years’ experience working as a project manager and will be skilled at independently managing multiple projects simultaneously and leading project teams.  

The Communications coordinator is a key, pivotal role at Truth For Life with extensive interdepartmental coordination. Therefore, this is a full-time, in-office position located in Chagrin Falls, Ohio five days a week. There is not a remote work option associated with this position.
